Iccara

Where Is It? A super-convenient, brand-new location in the heart of the Washington Commons Mall, near the Acme store. It’s an easy walk from downtown, and there’s also a large parking lot.

Why Should I Go? Proprietor and local restaurateur of more than 30 years, Vincenzo Sanzone grew up in a small town in Sicily called Iccara. Vincenzo’s grandmother, who was always creating remarkable culinary concoctions in her simple kitchen, taught him that delicious food is equally as important as a warm, welcoming atmosphere surrounded by family and friends.

Today, Vincenzo brings the food inspired by the coastal Italian town of Iccara to the seaside town of Cape May. Years after Vincenzo moved to Cape May, the name of his childhood town was changed to Carini, but Iccara still lives in Vincenzo’s heart — after dining at Iccara, it might just live in yours, too.

Insider Tip: Did you know studies show consuming lobster lowers the chances of obesity and heart disease? Lucky for you, there are not one but two delectable lobster pasta options on the Iccara menu — and both are prepared with scratch-made pasta and fresh Cape May lobster.
